I believe men in a relationship are put in a tough spot in today's society. If they cater to their spouses they are strengthening their relationship but often ridiculed by their male friends. Where is the line drawn? I believe I have found a happy medium but there are often times when I receive complaints from both my girlfriend and male friends. Other friends of mine who are girls claim it's "adorable" and "so sweet" but seldom hear anything positive from my male friends. I guess the comments I'm expecting are on finding the happy medium between friends and spouses.

Your friends who dont understand and have shit to say are dumb. And most likely dont have a girlfriend themselves so they wouldnt know anything about it. Seriously dont take advice from them. Even if they do have a girlfriend and they act like dicks, im pretty sure their relationships are fucked up in some way. Most guys suck at relationships so just stay the same Joe!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve to hear positive things from your male friends! That's a consciousness-raising thing in itself...asking guys WHY they're not responding positively. Do they have a logical reason, or are they reacting unconsciously?
